On March 10, local time, the 96^th Academy Awards ceremony was held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, USA.

The Academy Awards (Oscars), also known as the US Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Award (“Academy Awards”for short ), are film awards sponsored by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, which was founded in 1929. This award is the oldest, most authoritative and professional film award in the United States, and the most influential film award in the world. The Academy Awards are the highest awards in the American film industry, and are known as the Four American Performing Arts Awards (EGOT) along with the Emmy Awards (TV awards), Grammy Awards (music awards), and Tony Awards (theater awards).

The Academy Awards have 22 permanent awards and 3 non-permanent awards, and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences also has 3 honorary awards that are separate from the Academy Awards, collectively known as the Academy Council Awards. The Academy Awards are held annually at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, USA, from February to April, and are broadcast live on TV or online in more than 200 countries and regions around the world.
