Allianz Successfully Launched A TV Commercial Ad “Everyone Needs Somebody to Lean on”

In April, 2023 in France, Allianz launched a TV Commercial Ad by an ad agency: Ogilvy Paris titled “Everyone needs somebody to lean on.” This TV ad is 1 minute 40 seconds long, which aims to support the Allianz Group’s partnership with the International Olympic and Paralympic Committees to present Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. This TV commercial presented 8 athletes which developed trust between them or their coaches, and by analogy between policyholders and their Allianz France insurer. The trust is revealed through the daily life of a coach and an athlete from the moment they wake up to the moment they train, all filmed in the style of a documentary. It successfully recalled Allianz’s internal purpose: “We secure your future.”



According to Brand Value (China) Network, "Everyone needs somebody to lean on" in May, 2023 marks the start of the countdown to Paris 2024, fourteen months before the start of the international event. Allianz has been reaffirming its worldwide partnership with the Olympic and Paralympic Movements since 2021, a period of eight years. According to Oliver Bäte, Chief Executive Officer of Allianz SE, “Allianz is proud to be the ‘Worldwide Insurance Partner’ of the Olympic & Paralympic Movements.” He then added “As a supporter of the sports ecosystem and through shared core values of excellence, friendship, inclusion and respect, Allianz and our 148,000 employees and 100,000 agents are excited to care and deliver for athletes, their families and their ambitions.” The partnership is contracted to run from 2021 to 2028.

In 2021, Allianz China Life and CITIC Trust signed an equity transfer agreement for Allianz China Life to acquire 49 percent shares from CITIC Trust. After the transaction, Allianz China Life is the first wholly foreign-owned life insurance company in China. Based on China Brand Value Evaluation Standard, Allianz Insurance is not only an excellent insurance company in Europe but also one of the best insurance companies in China. 

 On the ranking of “The 3rd Daguan· Keweiwei World Brand Value Top 900” released on March 18, 2023, Allianz’s brand value was 582.4.18 billion RMB, ranking the 33rd. CITIC Limited’s brand value was 94.862 billion RMB,  ranking the 292rd.
